Golston Is Next to Sign Redskins' Tender Offer

Defensive tackle Kedric Golston has signed his restricted free agent contract, the Redskins announced on Friday.

The Redskins had tendered Golston at a second-round level on March 4.

Golston, 26, has appeared in 60 games, with 30 starts, in his four NFL seasons.

He has totaled 164 tackles (101 solo), 5.5 sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries and six passes defended.

Last year, he played in 16 games, with five starts, and posted 50 tackles 50 tackles (31 solo), two sacks and one forced fumble.

Golston joined the Redskins in 2006 as a sixth-round draft pick out of Georgia.
