| Played his whole career with Washington… Best known as one of Sammy Baugh's favorite receivers with the Redskins… Led team in receptions every year between 1949 and 1954… Scored 12 touchdowns in 1952… Appeared in the 1953 and 1955 All-Star games, representing the Redskins.
Named head coach of the Houston Oilers for the 1964-65 season… Also served as an assistant for the New York Titans… Native of Wynne, Arkansas… Passed away in 1992 at the age of 69. |
