Marcus Washington Media Session

On yesterday's hard-fought victory against the Cleveland Browns:

"We felt like we really made some strides with our goal line defense (yesterday). We were definitely drained after the game--yesterday was an emotional rollercoaster."

On the upcoming game against the winless Detroit Lions:

"We can take that attitude that we've got a week off. We've got to go in there and be ready to play our best ball. A lot of times when you a play a team that hasn't had a win, they come out really tough. It's not that we're necessarily slacking; it's that they're playing good football. We've got to be ready for a fight (every week)."

On the last few games coming down to the final possession:

"It's definitely a little tough to stay in the game and then to still be fighting and clawing at the end, but a lot of times that makes you appreciate the win a little more. It makes it a little bit more special--it's just a great feeling."
