The Redskins announced Dec. 29 they have allocated LB Khary Campbell to the injured reserve list and signed DL Joe Sykes from the practice squad to the active roster. Sykes is No. 78.

Campbell finishes his season as the Redskins leader on special teams with 33 stops (21 solo) and has served as a reserve linebacker all season.

Sykes is a rookie undrafted free agent that has been impressive in practice during the course of the season. The 6-2, 266-lbs. defensive lineman is a product of Southern A&M.
