Redskins Re-sign LB Warrick Holdman

The Washington Redskins announced today they have signed linebacker Warrick Holdman. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Holdman, 6-1 and 243 pounds, appeared in 14 games with seven starts for the Redskins in 2005. He totaled 38 tackles (23 solo) and one fumble recovery.

Holdman joined the Redskins as a free agent signee during the 2005 offseason. The seven-year veteran has also spent time on the rosters of Cleveland and Chicago.

During his career, he has totaled 560 tackles (364 solo), one interception, four sacks, and nine forced fumbles while appearing in 89 games with 68 starts. Holdman played college ball at Texas A&M.
