Ty Nsekhe has appeared in 40 games with 11 starts over his first three seasons with the Redskins, playing a key role as the team's swing tackle while also appearing at guard.

Ty Nsekhe is back for his fourth season with the Washington Redskins, as the team announced on Monday that they have re-signed the tackle.

Nsekhe, 32, has spent the last three seasons with the Redskins after first appearing in regular season action with the then-St. Louis Rams during the 2012 season. In his three seasons in Washington, the Texas State product has appeared in 40 regular season games with 11 starts.

The 6-foot-8, 338 pounder started two games during the Redskins' run to the NFC East title in 2015. During the 2016 season, Nsekhe appeared in all 16 regular season games for the first time in his career with four starts.

In 2017, Nsekhe appeared in 11 games with a career-high five starts. After missing five games mid-season with a core muscle injury, Nsekhe returned to the lineup in Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings before starting five of Washington's final six games.

While Nsekhe serves as Washington's swing tackle, he also saw reps at left guard during the 2017 season.

With Neskhe officially on the active roster, he joins Trent Williams, Morgan Moses, T.J. Clemmings and Orlando Franklin.
