The Redskins have signed three of their six 2010 draft picks -- fullback/tight end Dennis Morris and offensive linemen Selvish Capers and Erik Cook -- to rookie contracts, the team announced on Friday.

Morris was a sixth-round draft selection (174th overall) in the 2010 NFL Draft.

He played in 48 career games at Louisiana Tech with 21 starts and totaled 70 career receptions for 1,144 yards and 16 touchdowns.

As a senior, Morris earned first-team All-WAC honors and had 38 receptions for 623 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Cook was a seventh-round selection (229th overall) in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Cook played in 39 career games at New Mexico with 33 starts.

As a center in his final two seasons, he earned first team All-Mountain West Conference honors as senior and second-team All-MWC honors as a junior.

Cook was voted the Lobos' Most Valuable Player by his teammates in 2009 after he allowed just one sack in 470 passing plays and was called for only one penalty in 836 total plays.

Capers was a seventh-round draft pick (231st overall) in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Capers, an offensive tackle, played in 41 career games at West Virginia, with 31 starts.

He earned second-team All-Big East honors as a senior. He participated in all 799 offensive plays for the Mountaineers in 2009, helping the offense produce a 1,000-yard rusher (Noel Devine, 1,465 yards) and a 2,000-yard passer (Jarrett Brown, 2,144 yards).
