On working with running backs coach Earnest Byner:

"It was awesome. He taught me a lot. I am still in a learning process. They are throwing a lot at me and I am just trying to pick up as much as I can each day."

On what he got out of practice on Thursday:

"I had a chance to get on the field with the players. I had a chance to hang out and meet some players. Just join the team and be a part of it."

On what kind of impression he is making with his teammates:

"I am just having fun. I am just trying to find my role, fit in and win some ball games."

On what the most welcoming gesture was from a teammate:

"A handshake, that is about it. As the year goes on I will get to know people more and more. I will definitely make more friends and fit into the Redskins family."

On if he expects to play on Saturday against New England:

"I am just trying to learn the playbook right now and do what I can in practice."

On if the language of the offense if very different then what he is used to:

"It is somewhat different but it is the same scheme. I just have to learn the verbiage. It is a lot. It is confusing but my job is to learn it. I can't have any excuses."

On what it's like having Lemar Marshall (LB, #98) a fellow Michigan State Spartan on the roster:

"It great to have another Spartan in the building. I am still trying to learn a lot and he has been here for a long time. He is a great person to bounce questions off of."
