Offensive tackles Trent Williams and Jammal Brown underwent MRIs on their knees on Monday and the results revealed no structural damage, head coach Mike Shanahan said.
However, their status for practice this week remains uncertain.
"They're getting treatment today," Shanahan said. "Obviously the MRIs were negative, so that's good. There's no surgery needed, but they're quite sore."
Shanahan said he would have a better idea on their status on Wednesday, when the Redskins begin practice for this week's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Williams suffered his injury on the last play of regulation of Sunday's overtime contest against the Green Bay Packers.
Brown's injury occurred in the first half and he was sidelined the remainder of the game.
Stephon Heyer took over for Brown at right tackle. When Williams was injured, Heyer shifted to left tackle and Artis Hicks moved to right tackle. Will Montgomery replaced Hicks at right guard.
One notable lineman absence from the mix was Derrick Dockery, who was inactive for the game.
Dockery has been beaten out at left guard by second-year lineman Kory Lichtensteiger.
Since Dockery plays only left guard and he doesn't have the versatility of Montgomery, Shanahan decided to deactivate him for the Packers game.
Asked about Dockery's role on the team, Shanahan replied: "This is about competition. Just because a person doesn't start, doesn't mean that he can't be on your football team. Dock has a lot of playing experience. He's a winner. Dock has been nothing but supportive through this whole situation."
