George Banko enters his third season with the Commanders and first as the assistant linebackers coach.

Banko began his career in football as a Defensive Graduate Assistant for the program. He attended Chancellor High School where he played defensive end/outside linebacker and graduated in 2016.
A native of Fredericksburg, VA., Banko completed his degree in business from Alabama in 2020.
