Samantha Hawkins is entering her second season with Washington after spending the previous two years (2022-24) with the University of Memphis as the Director of Football Nutrition.
Prior to her time in Memphis, Hawkins was the Associate Director of Athletic Performance for sports nutrition for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
She interned in sports nutrition at Southeastern Louisiana University, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and in performance nutrition at Louisiana State University and Mississippi State University.
Hawkins graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and health promotion in 2020. She got her Master of Science in nutrition and food systems from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2022 and while interning at Mississippi State University, earned her Master of Science in exercise nutrition in 2023.
