Alexis Dotson is entering her second season as Coordinator of Player and Family Support after serving as the team's Player Development Assistant in 2023 and Player Development Intern in 2022.
She attended the University of Arizona where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Learning, Literacy and Leadership with a minor in Care, Health and Society. Upon graduating, she transitioned into teaching at an elementary school in the Tucson area.
In May 2020, Dotson received her Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in School Counseling from the University of Arizona. Dotson is currently in pursuit of her PhD. in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies at Howard University. From 2021-23, Dotson worked at Howard as an Athletic Academic Counselor where she coordinated athletic development for the football team.
Dotson was invited to the 2022 NFL Women's Forum advancing her opportunity in the NFL becoming a season-long Player Development Intern for Washington in 2022. Currently as a Coordinator of Player and Family Development, Dotson has a large role in off field programming and coordination with the players families.
