Jayant Leal enters his second season as an Equipment Assistant with the Washington Commanders after serving as a Seasonal Equipment Intern during the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

Prior to joining the Commanders, Leal was an Equipment Intern at Rice University in 2022, where he worked closely with the running backs, assisted with field setup and breakdown, and supported daily operations in the equipment room.

From 2020 to 2023, he was a Coaches Video Intern at the University of Houston, assisting with practice filming and video importing.

A Houston native, Leal graduated from the University of Houston in 2022 with a degree in Sports Administration and a minor in Food & Society.
