Mike Adams enters his 16th season in Washington as assistant video director. Adams is responsible for filming and editing all of Washington's games and practices in addition to working with the defense to create cutups and reports for upcoming opponents.
Adams started as an intern in the video department during the 2010 season before joining the staff on a full-time basis in 2011. Before the 2024 NFL season, he was selected for the NFL Mid-Career Executive Development Program at the University of Michigan.
Prior to joining Washington, he attended Howard University from 2005-10, where he played football for four years. As a senior at Howard, he worked as a coaching assistant, handling video for the football team. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management and earned a masters in sports industry management from Georgetown University in 2022.
In 2013, Adams started Driven By Our Ambitions (DBOA), a non-profit organization that merges football, academic and life skills for underprivileged youth. The organization has staged camps in Washington D.C. and Georgia in recent years, including participation from several Washington players and coaches. Adams is a native of Marietta, Georgia.
