Peter Picerelli enters his ninth season with the Washington Commanders, having originally joined the organization during the 2017 offseason. He was promoted to College Scout in 2019 after spending two seasons as a Scouting Assistant. He currently oversees the team's scouting operations in the Southwest region.
Prior to his time in Washington, Picerelli served as a Personnel Assistant at Boston College in early 2017 and worked as a Quality Control Analyst at Brown University during the 2016 season.
A native of Warren, R.I., Picerelli is a graduate of LaSalle Academy in Providence. He played collegiately at Tulane University from 2012 to 2015 and was named a semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award in 2013, honoring the nation's top collegiate punter. He earned a degree in business law and finance from Tulane. In 2019, he also completed analytics and coding coursework at George Washington University. In 2024, Picerelli was inducted into the Warren Athletic Hall of Fame.
