  • The Washington Commanders fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 29-18 on Saturday afternoon.

The Washington Commanders have begun warming up at Northwest Stadium for their Week 16 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Offense

  • QB Marcus Mariota completed seven-of-14 passes for 95 yards.
  • QB Josh Johnson completed five-of-nine passes and one interception.
  • RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt rushed for 25 yards and one rushing touchdown.
  • Croskey-Merritt rushed for his sixth touchdown of the season. He is the first Washington player to have at least six rushing touchdowns in their rookie season since QB Jayden Daniels in 2024 (6).
  • Croskey-Merritt is now the fourth rookie running back in the league to have at least 6 rushing touchdowns this season.
  • Croskey-Merritt has become the fifth running back in team history to rush for at least six touchdowns in his rookie season.
  • WR Terry McLaurin caught three passes for 53 yards.
  • McLaurin recorded his 65th career reception against Philadelphia on Washington's first drive of the game. He passed Jerry Smith (64) for No. 4 all-time in career receptions in franchise history against the Philadelphia Eagles. With that reception he also passed Dez Bryant (64), Michael Irvin (64) and Sterling Shepard (64) for No. 11 all-time in NFL history in receptions against Philadelphia.
  • McLaurin finished the game with 970 career receiving yards against Philadelphia and moved into No. 10 all-time in NFL history in receiving yards against Philadelphia passing Mel Gray (948), Drew Pearson (950) and Tony Hill (966).
  • RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. rushed for a team-high 63 yards and one touchdown.

Defense

  • DE Jacob Martin had two total tackles, one sack and one forced fumble.
  • Martin recorded his 5.5 sack of the season. It is the most he has ever had in his career.
  • LB Kain Medrano recovered the fumble on the opening kickoff which was forced by Sainristil. It is Medrano's first career fumble recovery.
  • CB Mike Sainristil totaled three tackles and one pass defense.
  • Sainristil forced a fumble on the game's opening kickoff. It was his first forced fumble since Week 13 of the 2024 season.
  • Sainristil has recorded 10-plus passes defensed in consecutive seasons. He is the first Washington defender to accomplish the feat since Kendall Fuller in 2021-22.
  • LB Bobby Wagner led the team with 10 total tackles. He also added two tackles for loss, one sack and one quarterback hit.
  • Wagner recorded his fourth sack of the season. This is the first time he has had at least 4.0 sacks in a single season since 2022 (6.0).

Special Teams

  • Following the conclusion of this game, P Tress Way has now broken the tie TE Don Warren for sole possession of sixth most games played in franchise history (194).
