The Washington Commanders have begun arriving at Northwest Stadium for their Week 16 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

5:02 p.m.
Here we go. The Commanders have won the toss and will defer. Let's play some Saturday football. It will be interesting to see how the Commanders plan to account for all the Eagles' weapons today. They haven't been as dominant as last year, but they do still have one of the most talent-filled rosters in the league.
5:09 p.m.
Well, what a way to start the game. Washington knocked the ball loose on the opening kickoff and Mike Sainristil recovered it deep in Eagles territory. The Commanders got all the way to the Philadelphia 2-yard line before being forced to kick a field goal. Obviously, they would much rather have ended the drive with seven points instead of three, but momentum is clearly in Washington's favor early on.
5:18 p.m.
Really impressive series by Washington's defense. They held Philadelphia short on their first third down of the game, and it looked like the Eagles would try to go for it. But they were just trying to get the Commanders to jump offsides, and they didn't bit. Washington gets a three-and-out, which is an encouraging moment for the group.
5:26 p.m.
That was a frustrating drive for the Commanders' offense. They were making some progress, highlighted by a third down catch from Terry McLaurin, who was on his back for the grab, but a holding call backed them up later in the series.
Also, here's an injury update: Jaylin Lane headed to the locker room after getting looked at in the medical tent. He's questionable to return with an ankle injury.
5:36 p.m.
The Eagles just took the lead, but it look them a little bit longer than they wanted. Their first attempt -- a Saquon Barkley run was initially ruled a touchdown but was later overturned to being short. Then, the Eagles tried a tush push but got called for a false start. DeVonta Smith finally crossed the goal line with a six-yard reception to make the score 7-3.
5:59 p.m.
We're still at 7-3, although that could change here in a minute. Eagles kicker Jake Elliott just missed a 43-yard field goal, and Marcus Mariota hit Terry McLaurin up for a 40-yard completion on the next play. Deebo Samuel just got the offense to the 11-yard line and Jacory Croskey-Merritt plowed through defenders to the four.
6:09 p.m.
It might have taken a few attempts and a challenge, but Washington finally got in the end zone with another Bill touchdown. Washington is now up 10-7 with 3:40 before halftime.
6:36 p.m.
We're back from halftime, and the Commanders held onto their three-point lead after two missed field goal attempts from Elliott. The Commanders get the ball the start the third quarter. We'll see how things change for them, but they seem dedicated to running the ball. They've rushed the ball 16 times so far, including six straight on their final series of the second quarter.
6:45 p.m.
The Commanders punted the ball away after Treylon Burks caught a 24-yard pass to open things up. Mariota got banged up on the drive and is currently in the medical tent.
6:50 p.m.
Another update: Mariota is in the locker room. Josh Johnson is up next at quarterback.
7:02 p.m.
Injury update:
Mariota was evaluated for a concussion and was cleared. He is questionable to return with a right hand injury
7:03 p.m.
The Eagles have retaken the lead after a 17-play drive that took 10 minutes off the clock. Dallas Goerdert got in the end zone on a 15-yard catch to make the score 14-10.
7:11 p.m.
Johnson is now in at quarterback and threw an interception to Cooper DeJean. The Eagles take over in Commanders territory with 32 seconds left in the third quarter.
