  • The Washington Commanders fell to the Miami Dolphis 16-13 on Sunday afternoon.
  • Washington's defense only allowed three third down conversions, which was the fewest allowed in a single game since Week 6.
  • Washington held Miami to 142 net passing yards, which was their fewest allowed this season. It was the fewest net passing yards allowed in a single game since Week 16 of the 2024 season.
  • Washington forced two turnovers on downs, which was their first time doing so in a single game since Week 6 of the 2023 season.
  • Washington recorded three-plus sacks for their fifth time this season and their first since Week 8.
  • Washington recorded two sacks in the first half of this game. It was their first time with multiple sacks in the first half of a game since Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
  • Washington scored points on its opening possession of each half for the first time since Week 17, 2024.
  • Washington went to overtime in a regular season game for the first time since Week 17 of 2024.
  • Washington held an opponent under 150 net yards passing (142) for the first time since Week 8 of the 2024 season.

Offense

  • QB Marcus Mariota completed 20-of-30 passes for 213 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He also rushed for 49 yards on four attempts.
  • Mariota recorded a 44-yard rush. That rush is the second longest of his career and his longest since Week 13 of the 2025 season.
  • Mariota played in his 100th career game.
  • WR Jacoby Jones record one reception for 25 yards. It was his first career reception.
  • RB Chris Rodriguez rushed for a team-leading 79 yards.
  • Rodriguez's 49 rushing yards in the first half were the second-most he has had in the first half of a single game.
  • Rodriguez Jr.'s 79 rushing yards in this game are the most rushing yards he's had in a single game since Week 13 of the 2024 season (94) and the second-most of his career.
  • WR Deebo Samuel Sr. caught seven passes for 74 yards and one touchdown.
  • Samuel Sr. has surpassed 50 receptions on the season. He has now recorded 50-plus receptions in four consecutive seasons.
  • With seven receptions this game, Samuel Sr. now has 53 receptions this season, surpassing his reception total from last season (51).

Defense

  • CB Jonathan Jones recorded six total tackles, one sack, one quarterback hit and one tackle for loss.
  • Jones recorded his first sack since Week 15 of the 2018 season.
  • LB Jordan Magee totaled five tackles.
  • Magee is the first linebacker in franchise history to have at least 10 defensive solo defensive tackles within their first 18 games played since LB Jamin Davis in 2021 (21).
  • DE Jacob Martin had two total tackles, one sack, one quarterback hit and one tackle for loss.
  • Martin has set a new single-season career high with 4.5 sacks this season.
  • Martin recorded the 50th quarterback hit of his career and the 12th of the season, a new single-season career high.
  • OLB Von Miller recorded one tackle, one sack, one quarterback hit and one tackle for loss.
  • Miller recorded his fifth sack of the season.
  • Miller (134.5) has passed John Abraham (133.5) for No. 13 all-time in NFL history in official sacks (since 1982).
  • DE Preston Smith totaled two tackles and one tackle for loss.
  • Smith recorded his 75th career tackle for loss.
  • LB Bobby Wagner led the team with eight total tackles. He also had one pass defensed.
  • Wagner recorded his 100th tackle of the season in the first quarter against the Dolphins. He has tied London Fletcher's record of 14 consecutive seasons with 100-plus tackles.
