On if he texted Head Coach Dan Quinn and what he said:
"That was between me and him, but I did."
On his motivation for texting DQ:
"I don't know. It just felt like it was, it was on my heart to send him a text, so I did."
On what he wishes he would've done differently after watching the film:
"Not turn the ball over. Yeah, that's pretty much it."
On the difference WR Terry McLaurin's return would make on the offense:
"I think he'll come back and, you know, contribute in the way that he does. You know, obviously Terry's been doing this at a high level for x amount of years, so obviously, you know, we get him back. You know, it'd be good for us offensively."
On improving performance on third downs:
"I mean, hopefully we stay out of the third downs, but if that's, we get to that point, we just got to execute."
On why it was important for him to take accountability after the game:
"I mean, that's what quarterback does, but you know, it was on me. So, I take accountability."
On how the team will respond to the loss heading into the game against the Dallas Cowboys:
"Respond, you know, go out there and play hard and we have to execute because it's a tough team that we're playing division rival, so we're looking to get a win. I know they are too."
On what it takes to put a loss behind him:
"I mean, we had a short week, so I had to move on pretty quickly, but I mean, I don't really want to talk about like my process and what I go through but yeah, you know, short week we have to move on, look forward."
On if he will be able to get his rhythm back once:
"I think so. It's just a flow of the game. Everybody has to get in a rhythm offensively and you know, once we do and everything's flowing even though we can move the ball up and down the field, but we have to go out there and execute and focus on the little things the attention to detail, execution at its finest."
On how injuries at the receiver spot has affected his timing with receivers:
"I mean, I'll say, for anybody in this league, it's tough but you know, you kind of get thrust into those situations because unfortunate things happen. So, you know, you can't really change who you are. The preparation stays the same and that's why in all season work on your fundamentals, your individual game. So, you're able to be accurate and things like that. And just kind of talk through those type of things."
On working with receivers in season even though there are fewer live reps:
"I mean, you have to find your spaces for after practice type of things. Obviously, you want to be conscious of guys and their body and obviously the most important thing is the game, but you try to get those reps as much as possible because you might rep a play one time and you know, [Offensive Coordinator] Kliff [Kingsbury] might call in a game on a critical situation. You have to go out there and execute it."
On how WR Chris Moore looked to him:
"I mean today was a jog throughish, so, haven't really seen him too much, but he's looking good. I know he'll be out there. If he's out there, he'll feel confident enough to go and I know he'll be excited to go out there and we're excited obviously to see a guy like that back in the huddle too. Both of them? Oh, I mean, anybody my bad. I'm, my bad. No, Chris, Chris has been doing his thing. Obviously, he made a huge catch on Monday and he's a veteran guy, so I'm super excited. And you know, he does his thing. He makes the routine, plays the winner's needed and I can know I could go out there and trust him and make a play."
On defenses playing the team differently with McLaurin out:
"I don't know. I mean, some teams, even with Terry in there, they might play us man, some other teams might play a zone, so I don't have a definitive answer for that one."
On WR Luke McCaffrey:
"Obviously, from a special teams standpoint, he keeps giving us good field position, so I love that. Receiver wise, he's making the plays, and he probably has the two most wide-open touchdowns I ever seen [laughs]. So, salute to Luke and I'm happy for him, but every time we need a big play to be made, Luke is stepping up making that play."
On what he wants to see from the team over the next few weeks:
"We still got some way to go. We're not a finished product, but we know in this league that you want to get hot at the right time. So, whatever that looks like, but we just have to keep stacking days and taking one day at a time and one game at a time."
On the offensive performance this season:
"I mean, we got the chance to take this thing to another level. Obviously, the stats are the stats, but it just says we could score with the best of them, and we can put up points, but we just have to be better with the details and execution. So, we don't have slow starts or anything like that, so that's something that we're just homing in and focusing on more."
On why taking blame for the fumble Monday night but blaming C Tyler Biadasz in their commercial:
"It wasn't really a part of my character or anything, but I kind of just do you know what people tell me. So, that's what they wanted to portray. So, I had to go out there and step aside from being a quarterback and kind of try to be an actor."
On talking to RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt about his recent fumbles:
"Yeah, I think you just keep breathing confidence in life and into them. Obviously, he's going on his sixth or six seventh game [laughs], but yeah, I mean Bill, he's tremendous man, so we know that he's not going to let that define them and he's going to go out there and really make plays when we need to make plays. So, it's kind of that next man, next play mentality."
