Recap: Army Swear in at Redskins Park

11.17 Swear In

As the Washington Redskins entered the team's indoor training facility at the Inova Sports Performance Center at Redskins Park in Loudoun County, Va., Saturday, there were special guests waiting at midfield.

Lined up at the 50-yard line were 15 future soldiers waiting to be sworn into the United States Army. All of the Redskins coaches and players gathered to witness the short ceremony.

After the swear in, guests were able to be on the sidelines to watch the Redskins walkthrough practice as they prepared for their home opener against the Colts. Included in those officers was Andrew Cavanaugh, the son of Redskins quarterbacks coach Matt Cavanaugh.

Following practice, members of the Redskins met their visitors from the Army, taking pictures and signing autographs before heading to the locker room.
