Redskins Salute to Host Virtual 'Working in Sports' Career Panel with USO-Metro & GEICO Military

On behalf of the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore & GEICO Military, Redskins Salute would like to invite all transitioning service members and any active-duty, dependent, or veteran interested in participating in the exclusive Virtual "Working in Sports" Career Panel and Q&A on Tuesday, May 19th, at 10:30 AM. Learn about the similarities between working in sports and working in the military, expected obstacles, key channels to get your foot in the door, translating military skill-sets to civilian positions, and much more!

Hosted by CBS Sportscaster Darren Hayes and featuring Redskins Front Office panelists Vice President of Sales and Marketing Nancy Hubacher, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Michael Silberstein, Manager of Partnership Marketing Meghan Klein, and Manager of Human Resources Hilary Fox. The event will feature panel introductions and discussion, followed by virtual Q&A's with participants, and featured guests from Redskins Salute and USO Pathfinder to discuss opportunities for military members!

Name: Nancy Hubacher

Title: Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Profile: Since 2000 has served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for The Washington Redskins. She holds primary account responsibility of the Team's marquis partnerships (including, Anheuser-Busch, Bank of America, NBC Sports Washington, Gatorade, Microsoft, to name a few) additional responsibility includes working the Sales Team to enhance partner experience and ensure retention. Prior to her role with The Washington Redskins, Nancy previously held several positions with AMC Theaters' wholly owned subsidiary, National Cinema Network (Now National Cinemedia), her last role as Executive Vice President of Sales and Corporate Relations. Nancy worked for AMC for 13 years and spent 1995 - 1998 in Kansas City, MO (Corp. Headquarters). Prior to her time at AMC, she started her career at ABC-O&O WRQX-FM in Washington, DC working in both the Promotions and Sales Departments. Nancy earned a bachelor's in communication from The University of Maryland and is a proud mom of two; Brandon (26) and Bailey (23).

Name: Michael Silberstein

Title: Vice President, Corporate Partnerships

Profile: Michael Silberstein, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for the Washington Redskins, completed his undergraduate degree at Brandeis University, before pursuing post-graduate degrees from Ithaca College and Georgetown University. As a member of the Redskins Corporate Partnerships division for 5+ years, Michael is responsible for securing new sponsorship revenue, while managing and retaining an existing portfolio of business partners.

Name: Meghan Klein

Title: Manager, Partnerships Marketing

Profile: Meghan Klein is in going into her second season with the Redskins as Partnership Marketing Manager. Prior to the Redskins, she managed AT&T's partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium & Dak Prescott. Along with her experience in NFL partnerships, she's worked in NCAA football, NHL & sports broadcast. Notable events she's worked include College Football Playoffs & National Championship, Red River Showdown, McGregor vs. Mayweather, the Super Bowl, & AT&T Byron Nelson. Meghan was a DI Rower at Southern Methodist University & graduated with dual degrees in Applied Physiology & Sports Management, and Journalism. Her father is a retired Commander of the U.S. Navy.

Name: Hilary Fox 

Title: Manager, Human Resources  

Profile: Human Resources Manager, Hillary Fox, is an Old Dominion University graduate with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and is certified in Human Resources with her SHRM – CP (Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional). Hillary has vast experience in the Human Resources field and has had the opportunity to practice Human Resources in different industries, now managing the Human Resources Department of the Washington Redskins.
