On the new additions to the defensive line:
"Man, the boys are some hard workers. [DT Javon] Kinlaw, he's a big dude, man, huge guy, but he brings the thump every day. Those vet guys like [DE Deatrich] Wise [Jr.] and, and [LB] Von [Miller] man. It's just exciting to see all those guys in the building and getting to learn from them and how they work and how they just progress on during this training camp."
On the defense having a good practice today:
"We're just trying to one up ourselves every day. We are just trying to build, we just build on the first day, second day, and then to the next day. I feel like that's how we just going to be the best us."
On which skills he is working on the most:
"I'm just competing. I'm coming out competing and trying to get myself into the position I want to be on game day and just trying to make our o-line better and just let them make me better."
On WR Terry McLaurin's absence:
"It's definitely odd not seeing him. We miss him for sure, but he has to handle his business."
On changes he's noticed in the offensive line:
"They got some good vet guys at tackle, some young guys playing guard and another guy at center. I feel like they worked together well. They all have their good talents and it's just some good guys."
On his first training camp without Minnesota Vikings DT Jonathan Allen:
"I'm kind of a guy that just does my own thing. I really don't need anybody to set the tone for me. I set this tone for myself."
On the different body types of guys on the team affecting his game plan snap-to-snap:
"I feel like it's just the way we play, play our defense. We can get big and get to base. We had guys like [DT Eddie] Big Eddie [Goldman] and Kinlaw playing big end, or we can get to [S Ben] Nickkel and or our pass rush packet. It's like you just have to be aware of who you are out there with. I feel like that's just going to help us have diversity when it comes to just facing different teams."
On what he is working on now that the standard is set:
"We just competing man. It is all about competition. We just out here trying to make each other better and just execute the game playing at a high level."
