Ken Whisenhunt Reflects On Time With Redskins

Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt was a tight end with the Washington Redskins from 1989 to 1990. The Titans take on the Redskins today at FedExField.

Last week, Whisenhunt spoke to the Washington, D.C., media about his time with the Redskins:

"I was very grateful to Coach [Joe] Gibbs for bringing me in there and having the opportunity to play for him and that organization. I had a number of very close friends that I'm still very close with. When you play together, it builds that bond. I understand that this is reunion weekend, so I'm excited about getting a chance to see some of those guys, especially Mark Rypien. I'm really excited for him going into the Ring of [Fame]… But it's a great environment for football and you always enjoy that. So I'm just hoping that we can come in and have a little better success than I've had there."
