The Washington Redskins are taking on the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium to finish off the season series with their division rival. Check out a running list of the highlights from the game.

In the first quarter, quarterback Colt McCoy demonstrated his ability to extend plays, scrambling out of the pocket and firing a strike to tight end Jordan Reed for a 20-yard gain.

Needing a defensive stop on third down, Jonathan Allen came up with a big sack on the final play of the first quarter with Dallas leading 7-0. With the stop, the Cowboys were forced to punt the ball back to Washington to begin the second quarter.

On a third-and-inches for the Redskins offense, running back Adrian Peterson used the help of his offensive linemen to get the conversion. Stepping on and over them, Peterson was able to keep the drive going.

After a booming punt from Tress Way backed the Cowboys deep into their own territory, Daron Payne made sure to keep them there. A sack on third down from one of the 'Bama Boys created a third-and-long and led to another punt by the Dallas offense.

With the Redskins offense taking over with its best starting field position of the afternoon, McCoy wasted no time tying the game up. He found tight end Vernon Davis wide open down the field for a 53-yard catch and run made it a 7-7 ballgame in the second quarter.

Remember when people were worried about Ryan Kerrigan and Preston Smith not having any sacks? That's not the case anymore, as the two combined here for a crucial takedown of Dak Prescott with the Cowboys in a goal-to-go situation. The sack helped the Redskins defense hold Dallas to just a field goal and a 10-7 lead.

Smith once again came up with a crucial takedown on the Cowboys' next offensive possession. With less than a minute remaining in the half, Smith's sack helped keep the Cowboys out of field goal range and keep it a 10-7 game heading into halftime.

Trey Quinn started the scoring drive, and Trey Quinn ended it. After the rookie receiver returned a punt deep into Dallas territory, he later caught a 10-yard pass from Colt McCoy for his first career touchdown. The score gave the Redskins a 13-10 advantage in the third quarter.

A series of unfortunate events led to a 31-13 lead for the Cowboys. In the fourth, the Redskins began to chip away at the lead with a rushing touchdown from Kapri Bibbs. The running back's score made it 31-20.

A Dustin Hopkins field goal late in the fourth would make it 31-23, but the Redskins were unable to get any closer, dropping the Thanksgiving matchup to the Cowboys.
