Special congratulations to Abby for being selected as the 2012 Pro Bowl Cheerleader for the Washington Redskins.

This special honor is voted on by her teammates to represent them at the Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii, and was announced at the Redskins vs. Jets game on Dec. 4, in front of 85,000 fans.

Abby was surprised by her parents on the sideline after the announcement on the field. She also received flowers and a lei from Chelsea, 2011 Pro Bowl cheerleader and Jamilla, 2005 Pro Bowl Cheerleader to represent this special honor.

After the game, Abby thanked her teammates, and said "You really touched my heart, and I'm so incredibly grateful for this honor. We have an elite team of ladies, and I'm very proud to have been selected to represent them."

Abby will head to Hawaii in January to be a part of an elite group of NFL cheerleaders. Along with their performance at the Pro Bowl game on January 29, 2012, she will make several appearances in Hawaii to speak with community, military and corporate leaders.

Abby has been a Washington Redskins Cheerleader for seven seasons and a captain for the past two seasons. Along with her role as a captain on team, she has traveled on 10 military appreciation tours, including tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, to boost the moral of our nation's troops. Abby will be an excellent representative of the WRC!
