- The Washington Commanders fell to the Denver Broncos 27-26 in overtime on Sunday night.
- Washington had 30 first downs against Denver. It is their most first downs gained in a single game this season and the most in a single game since Week 10 of the 2020 season.
- Washington recorded 419 total net yards, their second-most of the season and most in a single game since Week 1 against the New York Giants.
- Washington committed five penalties, their second fewest in a single game trailing only three committed against Kansas City in Week 8.
- Washington had eight third down conversions, which was their most in 2025 and most in a single game since Week 15 of the 2024 season.
- Washington joined the Indianapolis Colts as the only two teams this season to record 400-plus net yards against Denver.
- Washington is the only team this season to record 30-plus first downs against Denver's defense.
- This is the first time that Washington has had multiple overtime games in a single season since 2010.
- Washington had multiple players record at least 95 receiving yards for the first time since Week 8, 2023.

- QB Marcus Mariota completed 28-of-50 passes for 294 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
- Mariota had 28 completions. It was the second-most completions in a single game against Denver in franchise history, trailing only Mark Brunell (30 receptions in 2005). It was also the first time a Washington QB has had 25 or more completions in a single game since QB Jayden Daniels in the 2025 NFC Championship (29).
- Mariota's 294 passing yards in this game are the most he's had in a single game since Week 3 of 2019 (304)
- Mariota is the fourth quarterback since 2000 to record at least 50 pass attempts and 10 rush attempts in a single game, joining Josh Allen, Jameis Winston and Cam Newton.
- WR Treylon Burks caught one pass for five yards and a touchdown.
- Burks caught his first receiving touchdown of the season and first receiving touchdown since Week 13 of 2022.
- RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt rushed for 20 yards.
- Croskey-Merritt eclipsed 500 rushing yards this season. He's the first Washington running back to record 500 rushing yards as a rookie since RB Brian Robinson Jr. in 2022.
- TE Zach Ertz caught 10 passes for 106 yards.
- Ertz (824) surpassed TE Shannon Sharpe (815) for fifth on the all-time receptions list by a tight end.
- Ertz has recorded his 12th career game with 10-plus receptions. He has passed Jason Witten (11) for the third-most such games all-time. Only Tony Gonzalez (15) and Travis Kelce (12) have more among tight ends in NFL history.
- Ertz recorded five first half receptions for the first time since Week 17, 2022. It's the 19th time he eclipsed the mark in his career.
- Ertz recorded 45 receiving yards in the first half, his most since Week 15, 2019. It's the 24th time he's eclipsed the mark in his career.
- Ertz recorded his most receiving yards in a single game since Week 16 of 2018.
- Ertz recorded his 13th career game with 100-plus receiving yards.
- Ertz (10) recorded the most receptions in a single game against Denver in franchise history.
- Ertz's 10 receptions are tied for the third-most in a single game by a tight end in franchise history, trailing only Logan Thomas (13 in Week 15 of 2020) and Jordan Reed (11 in Week 7 of 2015).
- Ertz is the only player this season to record 10-plus receptions against Denver in a single game. He joins DeVonta Smith as only the second player this season to record 100-plus receiving yards against Denver in a single game.
- WR Terry McLaurin caught seven passes for 96 yards and one touchdown.
- McLaurin recorded his 40th career touchdown reception. He joins Charley Taylor, Art Monk, Jerry Smith, Gary Clark, Hugh Taylor, Bobby Mitchell and Santana Moss as the only players in franchise history to record 40-plus receiving touchdowns with Washington.
- McLaurin became the 25th active player in the NFL to record 40-plus career touchdown receptions.
- McLaurin became the third player in franchise history to record 95-plus receiving yards and a receiving touchdown in a single game against Denver, joining Art Monk and Michael Westbrook.
- RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. rushed for 41 yards and one touchdown.
- Rodriguez Jr. rushed for his fourth touchdown of the season in the second quarter and the eighth of his career. He has now rushed for a touchdown in three consecutive home games.
- Rodriguez Jr. is the first Washington player to rush for a touchdown in three straight home games since RB Antonio Gibson in the 2020 season. He is the fifth Washington player since 2000 to accomplish the feat.
- WR Deebo Samuel Sr. caught five passes for 64 yards.
- Samuel Sr. surpassed 6,500 career scrimmage yards in 92 games played. He joins Jonathan Taylor, Justin Jefferson and CeeDee Lamb as the only active players in the NFL with 92 or less games played and 6,500-plus scrimmage yards.
- TE Colson Yankoff caught one pass for 14 yards.
- Yankoff's third quarter 14-yard reception is a career high.
Defense
- DE T.J. Maguranyanga recorded his first career tackle.
- LB Frankie Luvu totaled four tackles and added two quarterback hits, one sack, one pass defensed and one forced fumble.
- Luvu recorded his third sack of the season and first since Week 6.
- Luvu recorded his 60th career quarterback hit.
- LB Bobby Wagner led the team with 8 total tackles, one interception and one pass defensed.
- Wagner recorded his second interception of the season, his most since 2022. He is the seventh linebacker in the league with at least two interceptions this season.
- Wagner has recorded at least two interceptions in a single season since 2022 (2).
