- QB Jayden Daniels completed 15-of-26 passes for 231 yards.
- Daniels has surpassed 1,000 career rushing yards in 20 career games. He is the first quarterback to rush for 1,000 plus career rushing yards in 20 games or less in NFL history.
- Daniels is the first quarterback in NFL history to have 4,000-plus yards passing and 1,000-plus rushing yards in his first 20 career games.
- RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 39 yards.
- Croskey-Merritt is the first Washington rookie to rush for four -plus touchdowns in their first five games with the team since QB Jayden Daniels in 2024. He is the first Washington rookie running back to accomplish the feat since RB Antonio Gibson in 2020.
- Croskey-Merritt is the first Washington rookie to record multiple rushing touchdowns in a single game since QB Jayden Daniels in Week 1 of the 2024 season. He's the first rookie running back to do so since RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. recorded two rushing touchdowns in Week 16 of the 2023 season.
- Croskey-Merritt is the only rookie offensive player this season to rush for two touchdowns in a single game this season.
- Croskey-Merrit joins Darrell Young (3 in 2013), John Riggins (2 in 1983) and George Rogers (2 in 1986) as the only Washington players to ever record multiple rushing touchdowns in a single game against the Chargers.
- Croskey-Merritt is the first Washington rookie with 150+ scrimmage yards and two rushing touchdowns since RB Alfred Morris in Week 17, 2012.

- Croskey-Merritt is the first Washington rookie to rush for 100 yards and two touchdowns since RB Antonio Gibson in Week 12 of the 2020 season. He is the fourth rookie since 2021 to record both 100-plus rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns in a single game.
- Croskey-Merritt is the first Washington player to have a 100+ yard rushing game since Jayden Daniels in Week 17 of 2024.
- Croskey-Merritt recorded the second-most rushing yards against the Chargers in a single game in franchise history, trailing only Alfred Morris (121 in 2013).
- WR Luke McCaffrey caught one pass for 50 yards. He also had three kickoff returns for 92 yards.
- McCaffrey had 50 receiving yards and 65 kickoff return yards in the first half. He is the first Washington player to accomplish this feat since Rock Cartwright did so in 2009.
- WR Deebo Samuel Sr. caught eight passes for 96 yards and one touchdown.
- Samuel Sr. has joined Bobby Mitchell and Charley Taylor as the only players in NFL history with at least 5,000-plus receiving yards and 1,000-plus rushing yards in their first seven career seasons. Samuel Sr. accomplished the feat in 86 games, which is the second fewest behind Taylor who hit the mark after 81 games. All three players were members of the Washington franchise.
- Samuel Sr. is the 13th player in NFL history to hit both marks during their career and the first since RB Tiki Barber in 2006. Samuel Sr. also becomes the first wide receiver in NFL history to achieve the feat.
- Samuel Sr. has joined Austin Ekeler, Christian McCaffrey, Lenny Moore and Brian Westbrook as the only players in NFL history with 25-plus receiving touchdowns and 20-plus rushing touchdowns in their first seven career seasons.
- Samuel Sr. has recorded four receptions for 50-plus yards two times in a first half this season. Samuel is one of nine receivers in the NFL to his those marks multiple times this season.
- Samuel Sr.'s 96 receiving yards are his most since Week 16, 2024.
- Samuel Sr. has recorded at least seven receptions in three games this season, his most in a single season since 2021 (4 games).
- Samuel Sr.'s three receiving touchdowns matches his 2024 season total.
Defense
- DE Dorance Armstrong had three total tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss and two quarterback hits.
- Armstrong is the first Washington player with at least five sacks in the first five weeks of a season since LB Ryan Kerrigan in 2014.
- Armstrong recorded his first two-sack game since Week 1 of the 2023 season and first multi-sack game since Week 4 of the 2024 season.
- Armstrong has recorded his fifth sack of the season, which matches his season total from last year.
- Armstrong joins DE Jamal Duff (2 in 1998) and DE Dexter Manley (2 in 1986) as the only players in Washington history to record multiple official sacks (since 1982) against the Chargers in a single game.
- CB Marshon Lattimore had two total tackles and one fumble recovery.
- Lattimore recovered his sixth career fumble and his first since 2021.
- DE Jacob Martin totaled three tackles, one quarterback hit and 0.5 sacks.
- S Quan Martin recorded nine total tackles and one forced fumble. It is his fourth career forced fumble.
- OLB Von Miller had three total tackles, 1.5 sacks, two quarterback hits and one tackle for loss.
- Miller now has 17.5 career sacks against the Chargers. It is the most among any player in NFL history against the Chargers. It is the most sacks against any individual opponent that Miller has in his career.
- Miller (132.5) has moved into a tie with Lawrence Taylor and Leslie O'Neil (132.5) for No. 14 all-time in NFL history in official sacks (since 1982).
- CB Mike Sainristil had seven total tackles, two passes defensed and one interception.
- Sainristil has matched his 2024 season total with two interceptions this season.
- LB Bobby Wagner led the team with 14 total tackles. He also recorded one quarterback hit.
- Wagner's 14 total tackles are his most in a single game since Week 18 of the 2023 season.
Special Teams
- P Tress Way played in his 184th game and has moved into a tie with Jeff Bostic (184) for No. 8 all-time in games played with Washington.
- K Matt Gay went 2-for-2 from field goal range and was 3-for-3 on extra points. Gay is now 9-for-12 from field goal range and 13-for-13 on extra points this season.
