Washington Redskins kicker Kai Forbath suffered a groin injury after Thursday's practice and will be listed as Questionable on the final injury report before Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.

He is the only Redskins player listed as less than Probable on Friday's injury report.

Head coach Mike Shanahan delivered the news at his post-practice press conference, saying:

"Yesterday he said his groin was a little bit sore. He got a little bit of treatment and didn't think it was anything, but a little more sore today. That's why we'll have him listed as Questionable."

Shanahan confirmed that Forbath will kick at the team's walk-through to gauge his availability before the team departs for Green Bay.

Forbath practiced fully on Friday, but Shanahan said the team has a contengency plan in place should Forbath be unable to kick.

He also confirmed that training camp kicker John Potter was a natural selection to be signed if necessary, but the team was still in the process of contacting him.

Shanahan said the team would not consider using two active kickers on gameday, seeing as a groin injury would inhibit Forbath on short or long kicks.
