Polumbus Cleared To Play, Active Tonight

Redskins' right tackle Tyler Polumbus has been cleared to play after suffering a concussion in the team's Week 15 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

Polumbus was held out of last week's contest and was not approved to practice until Friday.

Swing tackle Maurice Hurt started in his place last week against Philadelphia and is available if Polumbus experiences a setback. Rookie tackle Tom Compton has been ruled inactive as well.

Starting strong safety DeJon Gomes will not be available tonight, as he was listed as questionable on Friday with a knee injury. Vetern safety Reed Doughty and Jordan Pugh are available in his place.

Veteran quarterback Rex Grossman is active for just the second time tonight, and the first time with a healthy Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins. Grossman has not taken a snap in a regular season game this year, and is expected to be the third quarterback option.
