Reed (Concussion) Downgraded To Out

The Redskins got bad news on Saturday, as tight end Jordan Reed was downgraded from questionable to out for Sunday's game vs. the Atlanta Falcons.

He did not travel to Atlanta with the team.

This will be the fifth game total and fourth consecutive Reed has missed this season as he has dealt with the lingering effects of a concussion suffered in Week 10 vs. Minnesota.

Reed leads all Redskins tight ends with 45 receptions for 499 yards and three touchdowns, setting the rookie tight end franchise marks.

The Redskins will have three tight ends available to suit up, with starter Logan Paulsen, third-stringer Niles Paul and fourth-stringer Fred Davis making the trip.

Reed is the only Redskins player to miss significant practice time this week, with all other players receiving treatment listed as probable.
