The Washington Redskins announced today that Washington, D.C. native and Grammy-nominated, international rap superstar Wale will both attend & perform at the Redskins' annual Draft Day Party presented by Geico at FedExField on Saturday, May 2.
A longtime fan of the Redskins, Wale will announce the team's fourth-round pick live, as well as perform some of his biggest hits. All of the team's Day 3 picks will be announced live on location.

](http://www.walemusic.com/taan331)Wale, whose new album, "THE ALBUM ABOUT NOTHING," debuted at No. 1 on the charts, will add to an already festive event. This marks the first time the Draft Day Party has featured a musical guest.
"Having grown up in D.C., I've been rockin' with the Redskins since I was a kid. Since I'm constantly on the road, I have a chain with a large gold Redskins logo pendant, so it's always close to me wherever I am. I'm truly honored & excited to be a part of Draft Day. Huge thank you to Daniel Snyder & the entire Redskins organization," Wale said.

All fans can watch the NFL Draft on the high definition video boards, as well as tour the Redskins locker room, test their passing and kicking skills, dress like a Redskins player, climb the rock wall, take pictures with the Super Bowl trophies and win exclusive prizes throughout the day through various raffles. A group of current and former Redskins players will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with fans, schedules permitting.
The Draft Day Party will also feature USA Football "Heads Up Football" tutorials, as well as interactive panels on smaller field stages as part of activities.
