'My guy is a ball player': Command Center breaks down Commanders' free agency

On this episode of the Command Center Podcast, Logan Paulsen, Santana Moss, and Brian Mitchell recap day one of NFL free agency and what it brings to the Washington Commanders. The guys break down returning faces and new additions coming to D.C. in 2026.

Odafe Oweh

Paulsen: "My guy is a ballplayer, coach. He's got long arms, he's got multiple pass rush moves, crunch the rush inside, rush outside. He's good against the run, he can drop into coverage. This just seems like the perfect fit for Daronte Jones."

Treylon Burks

Moss: "We talk about the touchdown catch and that truck, it was spectacular. It was something that we didn't expect from him, I think you can honestly say, but I watched moments throughout the first time he got on the field, and I watched him get open … I think this guy can really compete and go out there and be one of those valuable wide receivers."

Laremy Tunsil

Mitchell: "You bring a guy like Laremy in, you give what you gave for him, and he played the way he played, it makes sense to bring him back."
