The Washington Commanders placed wide receiver Noah Brown on the Reserve/Injured list and signed defensive end Drake Jackson as a free agent.

The Commanders also signed veteran guard Julian Good-Jones to their practice squad.

Brown, who has been been dealing with groin and knee injuries this season, missed his fourth consecutive game on Monday against the Chicago Bears. He will now miss the next four games and will be eligible to return in Week 11 for the Commanders' game against the Miami Dolphins in Madrid, Spain.

Jackson, a second-round pick by the San Francisco 49ers in 2022, has appeared in 23 games, recording 21 tackles with nine pass breakups and six sacks. He was placed on the Reserve/Injured list eight games into the 2023 season and did not return for the rest of the year. He also missed the entire 2024 season after undergoing patellar tendon surgery in August of that year. The 49ers waived him in May.

The Commanders have also opened the 21-day practice window for cornerback Jonathan Jones, who suffered a hamstring injury against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2. Jones can be activated at any point during this 21-day window. If Jones were to reach the end of this period, the Commanders would need to decide whether to activate him or return him to IR for the rest of the season.
