First Lady Adrienne Says Farewell

Redskins Nation!

It truly has been a life changing experience to be a part of the best team in the NFL, and it is a bittersweet feeling as I say farewell.  Being a member of this organization for the past 4 years, both a Washington Redskins Cheerleader and Washington Redskins Cheerleader Ambassador has allowed me to experience things I never thought possible!  Having the opportunity to perform in front of thousands, travel, and inspire others has made me appreciate and cherish each and every moment of this journey.

There have been so many wonderful memories that I will take with me as I embark on the next chapter of my life.  Cheering for the most loyal fans in the NFL, traveling on local tours for the 80th anniversary, working with many great charities, going to exotic countries for the calendar shoot, mentoring aspiring young ladies for cheer and dance camps, and meeting all of you at numerous appearances throughout the DMV – this has been the experience of a lifetime!

The opportunity to be a member of this team would not have been possible without the support and encouragement of my director, Stephanie Jojokian.  Through positive reinforcement and dedication to making us the best team possible, Stephanie has been instrumental in my development and progress as a performer.  To the Redskins Cheerleader fans, sponsors, sideline assistants – you all make what we do possible and I appreciate your support and commitment to the team!  I want to give a special shout out to my class who I've had the opportunity to share some of the most memorable experiences with.  I have made great friendships that will last a lifetime and am so honored to be a part of a sisterhood with a legacy that will continue to thrive in the years to come. "Once a Redskins Cheerleader, Always a Redskins Cheerleader"

Leaving the sidelines as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader only means that I will now be cheering from the stands - as a proud alumni!

HAIL!!!
