It's a new year and new draft position for the Washington Commanders.
Following a 5-12 2025 season, the Commanders officially received the No. 7 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft. It's the fourth time in franchise history that they have held the pick, the last time coming in 1999 when they drafted Champ Bailey out of Georgia. The Commanders have the chance to take one of the top playmakers in this year's class and address several of their needs, from wide receiver to linebacker and much more.
Here are all of Washington's picks in 2026 NFL draft, which is scheduled to begin April 23 in Pittsburgh at Acrisure Stadium.
- Round 1 (Pick 7)
- Round 3 (Pick 71)
- Round 5 (Pick 147)
- Round 6 (Pick 187)
- Round 6 (Pick 209)
- Round 7 (Pick 223)
NOTES:
- Washington does not have a second- or fourth-round pick this offseason because of the trade for left tackle Laremy Tunsil last March. Tunsil recently signed a multi-year extension with the team after a solid season that saw him put up career-high numbers as a run blocker while also maintaining his status as an elite pass protector.
- Washington has an extra sixth-round in this year's draft from its trade that sent running back Brian Robinson Jr. to the San Francisco 49ers.
- Washington did not receive any compensatory picks.
