The Washington Commanders' 2025 schedule is close to being released, meaning that fans will soon be able to mark their calendars to attend their most anticipated matchups.

Here's what you need to know about the Commanders' 2025 schedule:

When will it be released?

The NFL announced during Round 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft that the schedule will be released on May 14 at 8 p.m. ET.

Who will the Commanders be playing in 2025?

Washington, which finished the regular season with a 12-5 record and had their most wins since 1991, will face a steep increase in competition in Jayden Daniels' second season. They will face seven teams currently in the playoffs, including Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Chargers and Green Bay Packers.

Thanks to the Commanders finishing second in the NFC East, they will play teams with the same standing in the NFC West, NFC South and AFC East. That list includes the Seattle Seahawks, who will travel to Northwest Stadium, the Miami Dolphins and the Atlanta Falcons. Washington will play the Falcons for the fifth consecutive season, and all the previous matchups have been close. Although the Commanders won each game, they were decided by a touchdown or less.
