Redskins Sign OL Cody Booth

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have signed free agent offensive lineman Cody Booth. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Booth (6-4, 292) originally entered the NFL with the Chicago Bears as a college free agent on May 11, 2014. After being waived by the Bears on Aug. 1, 2014, he spent portions of the 2014 season and the 2015 offseason with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Booth played collegiately at Temple from 2010-13. He converted to left tackle as a senior after spending the first three seasons of his collegiate career at tight end.

Booth, 24, attended Penn Manor H.S. in Lancaster, Pa., where he was a two-time All-Lancaster selection while contributing at wide receiver, tight end and defensive end. He was born April 22, 1991.
