The Washington Commanders and two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Terry McLaurin has reportedly agreed to terms on a contract extension that will keep him with the Burgundy & Gold for the foreseeable future.

McLaurin, who was drafted by Washington in the third round in 2019, is the franchise's leading receiver over the last six seasons. He has recorded five consecutive 1,000-yard seasons -- a franchise record -- and is sixth in career receiving yards, eighth in receiving touchdowns and sixth in career targets.

McLaurin had one of his best statistical seasons in 2024 in his first season working with quarterback Jayden Daniels. He caught 82 passes on 117 targets for 1,096 yards and set a career-high with 13 touchdowns, which also broke a single-season record for the most receiving scores by a Washington wideout and was second in the NFL behind Cincinnati Bengals' receiver Ja'Marr Chase.

McLaurin had 13 contested catches in 2024 with 10 touchdowns in single coverage and 135.3 rating when targeted, all of which led the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus.
