Sports Illustrated Tickets and Washington Commanders forge multi-year partnership to bring fans closer to the action

Landover, Md., and New York, N.Y. – (September 9, 2025) – Sports Illustrated Tickets and the Washington Commanders today announced a multi-year marketing and fan experience partnership uniting one of the NFL's most storied franchises with the iconic 70-year-old brand synonymous with sports and culture. Together, they will deliver authentic fan experiences designed to bring supporters closer to the action, both at Northwest Stadium and at the Commanders' historic NFL Madrid game this season.

Under the agreement, Sports Illustrated Tickets will serve as an Official Fan Experience Partner of the Commanders and of the 2025 NFL Madrid Game, in which Washington will face Miami in the NFL's first-ever regular-season matchup in Spain this fall. Sports Illustrated Tickets is also an Official NFL International Fan Experience Partner.

The fan experience packages debuted September 7th, when the Commanders hosted division rival, the New York Giants – and they're now available for upcoming Commanders home games. Packages include the premium Merrill Touchdown Club experience, comprised of pregame field passes, complimentary catering and open bar, live entertainment, parking, private restrooms, a dedicated entrance, plus the personalized SI Fan Cover and two magazine issues. Beyond the fan experience packages, Sports Illustrated will offer additional signature activations that will enhance gamedays at Northwest Stadium and select events:

  • Sports Illustrated Tickets Faces in the Crowd captures the pulse of gameday with 4K cameras spotlighting fans' most electric reactions – from goal-line stands to game-winning scores – and instantly transforms them into custom mementos, from SI-branded tickets to commemorative Fan Covers.
  • SI Defining Moments is an immersive storytelling experience celebrating iconic plays, milestones, and cultural touchpoints from Commanders and Washington, D.C., sports history, drawn from seven decades of SI covers, articles, and photography.

The alliance will extend internationally as the Commanders prepare to face the Dolphins in Madrid on November 16, 2025, in a highly anticipated Week 11 intraconference matchup at the Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid C.F. As an Official Partner of the 2025 NFL Madrid Game, Sports Illustrated Tickets will also serve as Presenting Partner of the "Command Center: Live from Madrid Special," a behind-the-scenes content hub delivering exclusive coverage, interviews, and gameday energy from Spain to fans worldwide.
