Created to celebrate extraordinary fans who have inspired others and made a positive impact on their team and the game, the 2025 NFL Fan of the Year contest, presented by Captain Morgan, offers a one-of-a-kind chance to show the one-of-a-kind passion a fan has for their club. Last year, Centerville, Virginia, native Dale McCord was bestowed the 2024 Commanders Fan of the Year honor and with it made history, becoming the first-ever deaf Fan of the Year nominee. Whether it's at a tailgate at Northwest Stadium or traveling with the Professional Football Ultimate Fan Association, McCord has worked to be an advocate for inclusion and accessibility in football.
An exciting, new wrinkle has been added to this year's edition of the Fan of the Year contest: for the first time, the NFL is also accepting entries for dynamic duo fans!
Winner(s) of the 2025 Commanders Fan of the Year will be sent to Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California to represent the Burgundy & Gold and vie for the title of Ultimate Fan of the Year.
