LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today the team's 2019 Bill Walsh NFL Diversity Coaching Fellows - Kelvin Bolden, Joshua Dean, Bryant Foster, Kevin Hubbard, Larry Murphy, Napoleon Sykes, Phil Taylor and Devin Salley.

• Kelvin Bolden will work with the wide receivers as he is entering his second season as assistant wide receivers coach with the University of Arkansas. 
• Joshua Dean will be assigned to the defense and is entering his second season as head coach at Lincoln University (Pa.). Dean has accrued nine years of collegiate coaching experience including serving as head coach at Kentucky State University. He is the son of former Washington Redskin cornerback Vernon Dean (1982-87).
• Bryant Foster will work with the defensive backs and is entering his third season as co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach. Foster spent two seasons as cornerbacks coach and defensive pass game coordinator at Hampton University prior to coming to CSU. Foster served in the same capacity at Campbell from 2013-14.
• Kevin Hubbard will assist the defensive backs and is entering his first season with Catholic University of America as defensive coordinator. Hubbard also spent one season as a defensive assistant at Black Hills State.
• Larry Murphy will work with the defensive backs and was named the defensive backs coach at Tusculum University in March of 2019. He was the cornerbacks coach at Valdosta State in 2018.
• Napolean Sykes will assist the defense and linebackers and joins the fellowship after serving on the football staff at the United States Naval Academy as outside linebackers coach.
• Phil Taylor was a first round (21st overall) selection by the Cleveland Browns in the 2011 NFL Draft. He appeared in 44 career games with 42 starts and finished his career with 69 tackles, seven sacks and 15 tackles for loss. He played for the Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins over the course of his eight-year NFL career.
• Devin Salley is a strength and conditioning professional with collegiate and NFL experience. Salley has held internships with the football programs at the University of Tennessee, University of Maryland and University of Southern Mississippi. Salley is currently one of the Washington Redskins professional interns and is assisting the training staff with overseeing the offseason workout program for the 2019 season.

Established in 1987, the Bill Walsh NFL Diversity Coaching Fellowship provides NFL coaching experience to a diverse group of participants every year. The program is named after the man who conceived the idea – late Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach BILL WALSH – and exposes talented minority college coaches, high school coaches and former players to the methods and philosophies of NFL coaching staffs. Walsh introduced the concept to the league in 1987 when he brought a group of minority coaches into his San Francisco 49ers' training camp.
