Commanders sign Dyami Brown

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Commanders announced today that they have signed wide receiver Dyami Brown. Full terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Brown (6-0, 195) is entering his sixth season and entered the league with Washington as a third-round pick (82nd overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft. Brown has played in 77 career games, with 16 starts, and totaled 79 receptions, 1,011 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

In 2025, Brown signed with Jacksonville and played in 14 games and recorded 20 receptions for 227 receiving yards and one touchdown. Brown had five receptions, 57 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown in Week 2 against Cincinnati, which were all season-highs.

Brown set career-high single season marks in receptions (30) and receiving yards (308) during the 2024 season with Washington. He made his presence felt during the team's NFC Championship run and led the team in receiving yards in both the Wild Card Round against Tampa Bay and the Divisional Round against Detroit. Brown tallied 14 receptions, 229 receiving yards and one touchdown across all three playoff games.

From 2021-2023, Brown saw action in 47 games and caught 29 passes for 476 receiving yards and three touchdowns. In 2021, he started five of his first six career games and recorded his first career touchdown in Week 5 of the 2022 season against Tennessee.

Brown, a Charlotte, North Carolina native, attended West Mecklenburg High School and played collegiately at the University of North Carolina for three seasons (2018-2020). In his junior season, Brown finished as a Biletnikoff Award Semifinalist and a member of the All-ACC First Team and AP All-America Third Team.
