Another week of OTAs is in the books for the Washington Commanders, and there were once again a few players who had solid performances during the team's practice that was viewed by media members on Wednesday. Here are three players who caught our eye.

Noah Brown

Brown said when he was re-signed that he felt healthy and ready to go for his second season with the Commanders. The veteran wideout looked healthy last week, and he followed it up this week with one of the most impressive catches of the day.

After starting practice with special teams drills, the offensive and defensive skill players broke away to do some seven-on-seven work near the goal line. After getting three completions in his first series, Jayden Daniels started his second set of plays by targeting Brown in the back of the end zone. The pass required Brown to extend his arms a bit more than normal, but he did come down with the grab and maintained possession despite brushing against the goal post on his way to the ground.

Brown, who the team signed after training camp last year, was on his way to a career performance before suffering a kidney injury against the Tennessee Titans. He proved himself as a strong security blanket for Daniels and drew multiple pass interference calls because of how he used his size and quickness. It looks like he could be primed for another impactful campaign with a full offseason in Washington's system.

Chris Moore

The Commanders' receiver position is a crowded group, and there might be only one or two spots for players to fight for. There are a few players who could compete to round out the bottom of the depth chart, and Moore is already making his case.

Near the end of practice, the Commanders moved on to some light 11-on-11 work. Moore, lined up against rookie Trey Amos, sped past the second-round pick as Daniels reared back to launch the ball in his direction. Moore had to slightly adjust his route to make the catch, but he still made the reception before being touched down by Amos.

Moore, a fourth-round pick in 2016, has bounced around the league and played for the Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans. His past shows that he can be productive, like when he had 548 yards and two touchdowns in 2022 with the Texans, but he still faces a difficult task to make the roster. Still, plays like that do help his cause.

Jayden Daniels

Yes, Daniels was a standout during last week's practice, and yes, he was sharp once again this week.

Daniels' passes to Moore and Brown were not the only exceptional throws he made on Wednesday. He started Washington's seven-on-seven period with three straight completions, two of which went to tight end Zach Ertz. When the offense moved closer to the end zone, he threw touchdowns to Brown, tight end John Bates, K.J. Osborn and Ertz. The Bates reception was particularly impressive, as he had to throw it slightly to the left in tight coverage for Bates to score the touchdown.

Daniels, head coach Dan Quinn and offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury all discussed the benefits of being in the second year of an offensive system. It allows the unit to build on what they accomplished the year before, fine-tune plays and use concepts they didn't or couldn't utilize as much. It also allows Daniels to get more comfortable with the offense and how Kingsbury calls plays. Clearly, Daniels is as effective as ever and making progress towards having a successful sophomore NFL season.
