Co-hosts Logan Paulsen and Jason Johnson have been breaking down their top players at each position ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. They just got done ranking the tight ends, but Paulsen still has his eye on several other players outside of his top 10 that could be available for the Commanders in later rounds.

- I think there is something here. He's tall and long and competes in-line and has decent length. I think he has good vertical speed. He's an NFL player for sure, but what is his role? He is a little stiff, which makes me think he's a "Y" with pass game upside as opposed to a true "F." It seems like he has good speed to stretch the seam.

Evaluation:
- His film is hard to evaluate. He is part of a three-man rotation at A&M. I like what I see from him as a blocker. He understands angles and how to sink and strike. He is a little undersized for the "Y" role at the NFL level but looks like he can grow into his frame. When he does catch the ball, he is smooth. I wonder about some of the technical stuff (stems and indicators). He did not run a lot of routes in college with only 19 receptions last year. He's a developmental prospect for sure.

Evaluation:
- Big, in-line, "Y-type" body. He is physical and plays with an attitude. He's loose with his hands, which can cause his hips to get high and he can get pulled forward. He looks out of control at times and can be messy with his feet and late to combinations (usually on the road). Despite this, he has the attitude to be successful in-line and just needs some coaching. He has enough athleticism to give you something in the pass game, but he needs to develop and might be better sooner if he gets with a good coach.

Evaluation:
- The talent is obvious. He has long arms that he uses well to high-point the football (his TD vs UCF is wild). He has enough suddenness to be dangerous. He's a natural hands catcher and has nuance as a route runner. He shows some strength (with poor tech in the run game). They don't ask him to do a lot of in-line stuff but have him run lots of bubble screens and cross sifts, which basically makes him a "big slot." There doesn't appear to be a lot of grind to him. He's loose with the technique, which might be because he doesn't get a lot of reps at it.
