Wide receiver Terry McLaurin will not play during the Washington Commanders' Sunday Night Football matchup with the Seattle Seahawks after re-injuring his quad during Monday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, head coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday.

Quinn does not believe the injury will be a long-term issue but did not provide a timeline for McLaurin's return.

Quinn cannot say for certain when McLaurin's injury occurred but believes it was on his 25-yard diving sideline catch in the third quarter during Monday's game. He did not return to the field after the play.

McLaurin has dealt with his quad injury since Week 3 and only just made a full return to practice last week and said last Friday that only recently started to feel like himself. McLaurin caught three passes for 54 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown that tied the score before halftime.

McLaurin has 13 receptions for 203 yards and a touchdowns in four games this season. He and quarterback Jayden Daniels have only been on the field together for two games.
