The Washington Commanders' "Drive to the Draft" podcast is starting to rank each position in the 2026 NFL Draft, and while offensive line is not necessarily a top priority for the Commanders at No. 7 co-hosts Logan Paulsen and Jason Jonhson broke down their best players up front.

  1. Caleb Tiernan, Northwestern

One thing: "He's a tall guy. He's 6-7, he's like 325. He looks like he might be 330 at some points in the year. Just a big dude. Good arm length; he is a little bit of a waist bender, kind of overbends over his hips, gets a little bit straight knee. There are times where he looks very in control in the pass set kind of smoothly. He glides back there is a little bit of like lurch to his game. So, while he is very graceful in certain settings, there are times where he looks a little bit unathletic, which for tackles, is always a little bit concerning to me. But love the length, love the comfort, like how comfortable and confident he is in his past set."

  1. Jake Slaughter, Florida

One thing: There's a nice finish to his game. I don't like to overvalue center so he might go lower than this, but I think the thing that comes out and sticks out to me when I watch him, he does get overpowered at times by bigger offensive linemen, but he does have enough tools in the toolbox to survive those downs? ... He's got really nice, bendy knees. He gets into his hips well. He can kind of survive some of those downs. But versus bigger, more athletic guys, he is gonna have harder time. But love the movement, love the compete, love the angles that he takes to the second level. Love the angles he takes and how to position his hat on the first level. You can tell he is played a lot of football and is just a really smart guy."

  1. Isaiah World, Oregon

One thing: "Isaiah World is a raw prospect, no doubt about it. He's 6-8, he's about 308 pounds. His arms look like they're crazy long. I'm curious to see what he measures at the combine, but he has an electric kick slide and can move. One of the things I look at is how the guy kick sets, how he redirects versus a stunt. How the tackle can redirect and then how he cuts off like a backside three technique? And the athletic movement skills of Isaiah World are very basketball-esque. He's light in the lower half. I think that's gonna really hurt him at the next level."

  1. Emmanuel Pregnon, Oregon

One thing: "I was a little bit hit or miss on this guy, but the more I watched him, the more I liked him. He's like kind of a boxy kind of guy. He's 6-5, he's 325, kind of barrel chested, kind of a lot of weight in the gut. Not bad weight I would say, but kinda like a strong man or powerlifter type build. And he's got good footwork, he's got great snap on pulls and stuff. He kinda rolls his hips real nice, and he reminds me a lot actually of Jackson Powers-Johnson, just in terms of that build just like a big, muscled up SpongeBob. I don't think he's gonna be for everybody. I don't think he's gonna be like a great outside zone guard. But I think if you get him in a gap heavy, downhill running attack group, I think he's gonna do really well."

  1. Jennings Dunker, Iowa

One thing: "He's the only guy right now that we've gone through that I think might be playing a different position at the NFL level. So, he played right Tackle, he's 6-5, he's 315 looks the part man got 34-inch arms, I thought actually crushed the senior bowl when he played tackle. There are some limitations I think to his hip flexibility and mobility ... He is a very much a knee over his foot type of player. And there seems to be a little bit of hip tightness there. But my goodness, does this dude just love playing football and is just a physical, get after you son of a gun. He gets his hands on you, he runs his feet."

  1. Caleb Lomu, Utah

One thing: "I like him a lot. I think he's got great foot speed. I think he understands leverages and pass protection. There are some times where I wonder about his total place strength. He gets a little bit high, gets a little bit disinterested, but I really like the overall athlete. And I think he's better put together. I don't wanna say the play strength was a concern, but he's well put together. It's not like a glaring issue. So, I think he's a very, very solid prospect."

  1. Blake Miller, Clemson

One thing: "He's a former high school wrestler. He's got 35-inch arms. He is a nasty, nasty human being. Like he loves to finish. He can run. I think he's got good feet. He's a little bit duck footed. So it looks a little bit awkward. But he's quick to the angle. He is quick to the landmark. I think in pass protection, that's where I get a little bit worried about him. Because he's got long arms, you can see the length. But he tends to kind of like headbutt and kind of try to bear hug you as opposed to like keeping you using his length. But in terms of football character, at least based on the film, he's the big, nasty, man."

  1. Monroe Freeling, Georgia

One thing: "I actually think is a pretty gosh darn good mover for being 6-7. He does a great job in pass protection. He uses his length. He gets his hands out there; he stuns guys. He's pretty good in combinations. There are times where he gets to the second level and he does not bend super well. He's hitting guys with the bottom of his face mask as opposed to his face or the crown of his helmet. And at the next level, that could be problematic. But the thing that I always told myself is if you see the ability to pass protect at a high level, you gotta value that guy."

  1. MaxIheanachor, Arizona State

One thing: "He's 6-5, he's 325. Former basketball player, former soccer player. He's got sweet feet, man, his feet are fantastic. He's 325, he looks like he's 330. He reminds me of Armand Membou a little bit from last year. Hot necessarily big legs, but big thighs, big chest, powerful build, great length."

  1. Caden Proctor, Alabama

One thing: "His ability at 370 to kick and glide is tremendous. He is a top shelf athlete. Pound for pound, he might be the best athlete I've watched so far in the process. He's incredible ... But the thing that I love is when they run a boot and he's running to reach the edge. There's a clip versus Tennessee where he is pulling to the perimeter, and he's out running a corner who's 180 pounds to the spot. And I'm like, 'I want him doing that more.' He caught a screen versus Georgia that he ran for 15 yards. He is an athletic freak. The way he bends, the way he can get into his hips is tremendous."

  1. OlaivavegaIoane, Penn State

One thing: "He's not very tall. He is like 6-2, 6-3, but he's got long arms, and he's like 340. He's a big old Hoss, man. Talk about just a solid football player. Physical, nasty, great technique uses his length well. Like they're passing off stunts. He'll stab the three technique, keep it nice and flat, receive the defensive end, push that guy out to the tackle. He's got good feet; he gets good bend and pad level and really drives people outta there. From a guard standpoint, I know people don't like guard value per se. I think he could be a top 15 pick man. He just seems like...he will start for most teams in the NFL."

  1. Spencer Fano, Utah

One thing: "This dude has ballerina feet. He can run on screens run to the second level. He has the pass protection ability to pass stuff off the interior. Again, the hands aren't perfect, but the footwork is tremendous. And I was like, 'Man, he's really light.' But he is one of those guys that's light but understands how to access his hips when he receives pressure hop to stop redirect bull rushes versus power rushers. I was, just quite frankly, blown away. I worry a little bit about the frame. It's a little bit concerning to me, but I can take him, work him out, develop that a little bit. He's gonna keep growing. I definitely see why people are so high on him. And obviously I'm high on him."

  1. Francis Mauigoa, Miami

One thing: "I really love him. I have a confidence grade that's my level of confidence he could be an NFL player, and my confidence with him is like a nine. I don't think I've graded a player higher than that. I like his footwork. He's got a really graceful kick set ... He's built like a refrigerator that moves around out there. He's just thick and dense and he has a massive lower half, which I think anchors really well. His arms to me look a little short, but he's super strong. He has nice feet. Very rarely does he target the wrong blitz."
