Originally selected by Washington in the third round [84th overall] of the 2016 NFL Draft… Traded to the Kansas City Chiefs on March 14, 2018… Signed with Washington as an unrestricted free agent on March 18, 2020.

Re-joined Washington during the 2020 offseason... Finishes 2019 having appeared in 55 regular season games with 31 starts from 2016-19... Recorded 225 tackles [172 solo], 26 passes defensed, 6 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles in his first four NFL seasons with Washington [2016-17] and Kansas City [2018-19]... Also started in four of the five previous career postseason contests, including a win in Super Bowl LIV.
