Wagner’s experience has been a complement to Luvu’s unique athleticism, and the combination of those traits has produced one the better linebacker groups in the league. 

During a pro career that spanned 17 years, Fischer played in 213 games and recorded 56 interceptions. Ten of those seasons were spent in Washington, where he became a lynchpin of the Burgundy & Gold’s defense during the late 1960s and 1970s.

The Washington Commanders won their fourth consecutive game on Sunday by defeating the Cleveland Browns, 34-13. Here are five takeaways from the victory. 

It was another complete win for the Commanders, who have gotten out to a 4-1 start for the first time since 2008. The defense, which held the Arizona Cardinals to 14 points in Week 4, held a struggling Browns offense to one offensive touchdown. Cleveland was held to 212 yards, averaging just 3.6 yards per play.
